Wedding favors. What do you think of? Chocolate, little trinkets, something you take home and maybe use? Jordan Almonds. Well what about cookies? Yes of course, but made by the groom? Matt made a variety of different types of chocolate chip cookies and wrapped them. I don’t know all different types he made. What I tried was white chocolate chip with dried apricots. It was delicious.
Okay now on to wedding photography and wedding venues.
The Wedding Ceremony at Stanford Memorial Church
Elizabeth and Matt were both Chemistry grad students at Stanford. I think it was the chemist in Matt that made him want to try different mixtures of chocolate chip cookies. Their wedding ceremony was at the Stanford Memorial Church on the Stanford University Campus in Palo Alto, CA. The portrait session of the bride and groom with families and the wedding party was also shot on Stanford Campus. The campus is so beautiful it’s great for photography. We mixed posed candid and photojournalism photography style during the entire wedding. While Hagop was photographing Liz snuck in a shot of Matt admiring her bouquet.
Redwood City Historical Museum Wedding Reception
The reception was in a courtroom. The tables were set where the spectators would sit and the dancing where the judge, jury, and attorneys would be. They had touching speeches, a romantic first dance and a great party!
The Redwood City Historical Museum had some beautiful classical area for romantic photography. Hagop & I had a wonderful time with Liz and Matt, helping them tell the story of their wedding day.
After the ceremony and the family photographs in the church Liz and Matt wanted some more photographs of just them around the campus.
