A San Francisco Bay Area Wedding Photographer is lucky to have so many great churches to photograph weddings. Portola Valley Presbyterian Church in Portola Valley, CA one of these churches.
A beautiful church with an alter window that looks out on a grove of redwood trees. A very awesome scene for a wedding, but a true challenge for a photographer. Balancing the light in the church with the window is always a task. Having photographed many weddings at this church we are familiar with its lighting challenges. When couples come to our studio for their first meeting, and we show weddings from this church if they aren’t familiar with the church they almost always ask where it is. Especially couples who are thinking of having a church wedding.

Wedding Portraits on Stanford Campus
Between the ceremony and wedding reception is when they decided to go to Stanford for outdoor photography and portraits with the families and wedding party. Both Nataliya & Erik have a classic look about them. It’s great, I love it! While Hagop was setting up photographs I had a chance to capture some candid moments with families, children etc.
Wedding Reception at Meza Luna Restaurant in Half Moon Bay, CA
Great Food! Wonderful atmosphere! Sometimes a restaurant wedding reception can be a little awkward. Meza Luna had the dance floor right in the middle of the tables with allow both of us the freedom to walk around and document the wedding reception comfortably. I loved the speeches and the fact that Dad got teary eyed during the mother/son dance. We also had some time to take some silly photos.
