Wedding photography for Eileen & David started at Stanford Campus for pre wedding portraits. They decided to go the non-traditional way and see each other before so that we could finish all of the bride and groom portraits and the wedding party shots before the wedding.
Their wedding ceremony was at the Presbyterian Church in Portola Valley, CA a beautiful church with an alter window that looks out on a grove of redwood trees. Balancing the light in the church with the window is always a challenge. When couples come to our studio for their first meeting, and we show weddings from Portola Valley Presbyterian Church if they aren’t familiar with the church they almost always ask where it is.

The Quadrus Conference Center in Menlo Park, CA is where Eileen & David hosted their wedding reception. We did some more portraits there of just the bride and groom. I think Eileen had fun with her veil. The room at the Quadrus Conference Center was just perfect for an afternoon wedding reception. It was light and opened up to a patio with a beautiful view of Menlo Park and the hills.
